Carlton Fields is seeking a second to fifth-year associate with significant and substantive experience in real estate transactions to join its rapidly growing real estate practice in Los Angeles. Experience working with developers, owners, investors, and lenders in a diverse range of financing, development, and investment matters preferred. Experience working with loans, joint ventures, LLC documents, and/or leases is important. Excellent academic credentials and demonstrative writing skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in California, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, while being able to work independently on client matters in an environment where drive and client service are valued. Excellent long-term opportunity for the right individual. Practical prior non-legal business experience in the commercial real estate industry is a plus.
