Job Details:
SUMMARY
This position supports the company’s real estate and commercial contracting attorneys. The candidate must have experience reviewing real estate transaction documents, on-line property research, and managing transactions from origination to completion., and other day-to-day aspects of real estate practice. In addition, the candidate must have experience reviewing and providing guidance with contracts, including supply chain, sales, information technology, and other commercial areas. The successful candidate is expected to be a quick study, efficiently collaborate with Law Department staff and client groups within the company, and become an effective, integrated part of the Tyson Foods Law Department. This role is a part of the Corporate Law group of the Law Department.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Requires either (i) a paralegal degree from an ABA-certified degree program or equivalent work-related experience; (ii) Bachelor’s degree in any field and completion of a paralegal certificate program; or (iii) exam-based certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants NALA or from National Certification of Paralegal Associations NFPA .
Experience: At least five years’ experience as a paralegal in a legal and/or title company setting.
Computer Skills: Requires on-line legal research skills and advanced word processing skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
Special Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be able to actively engage and work with members of the legal staff located at various offices.
Location: This position is located in the company’s Springdale, Arkansas world headquarters located at 2200 W. Don Tyson Parkway.
This position does not offer reimbursement for interview expenses and/or relocation assistance.
